A Call to the Ekklesia of NY
Come to the Well of Covenant
Come to the Altar at Beersheba
With the Vision of Calling the Ekklesia of New York to the Well of Covenant to cry out in repentance on behalf of their land, to build an altar of worship, and to declare their land is in renewed covenant with God, returning home to build altars of worship.
Why Palmyra?
The four corners in Palmyra was identified by Ripley’s Believe It or Not as being unique in America as having a church on each corner. If God places each church, then God has identified this location as important!
Why an Altar?
Altars represent sacrifice. Exodus 27:1-2 says “build an alter with horns on four corners”. Aerial photos show the four churches on four corners can look like four horns on four corners. Every church is an altar to God- representing the sacrifice of time, energy, money and prayer. Together these four churches create a collective altar to God.
What is “building an altar of worship?”
Jesus’ birth, death and resurrection brought a new covenant and changed our worship and relationship with God. Old testament altars where physical places of sacrifice, atonement and meeting place between God and man. Jesus became the altar, sacrifice and meeting place between God and man. Altars were (O.T.) places of covenant. Our promises to God are not to be taken lightly. Altars were places of gathering. Gathering to worship is ordained fellowship.
As we come together and cry out for our land, we will begin a move of the Spirit that will carry back to our homeland. As we return home and cry out, we can establish an altar of worship that will help change the atmosphere over New York. (see NYS Altars of Worship)
Why Well of Covenant?
The four churches are at the intersection of NY State Routes 21 & 31
Genesis 21:31 Abraham digs a well and calls it Beersheba (Well of Covenant)
Genesis 26:25 Issac goes to Beersheba, digs a well and builds an altar.
Why bring a stone?
1 Kings 18:30-31 Elijah called the people together, rebuilt the altar with a stone from each tribe. Your stone represents the land where you live. Together we will have territorial representation from all of New York State.
What is NYS Altars of Worship?
New York State Altars of Worship (AOW) is mandated and committed to inviting God’s manifest presence to dwell in New York State. As Scripture declares, God inhabits the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3). We believe that as we lift our voices in praise and worship, His manifest presence will fill our homes, communities, and state, bringing transformation.
